Valorant can rewatch a match now. valab measures one. Every round plays back in the browser and lands as numbers: who was where, what they were holding, what they had left to spend. Your matches stay, long after the client has deleted its replays.
What a player actually does. The reads worth respecting, the habits worth punishing, and the tendencies in between, each backed by the number it came from. Run it on yourself, a teammate, or anyone you have played against.
Your regular stacks grouped automatically. Name them, see the setups you default to on each map, and read the whole stack as one record.
Routes you can play back like a replay and filter by agent, heatmaps by phase of the round, held setups with the angle they watched, and where their utility comes to rest.
Opening duels, clutches, trade chances taken and missed at shoulder distance, and headshot rates split by gun and by range.
Every kill weighed by how much it swung the round, so the entry that opened a site counts for more than a mop-up at the end.
Everything you upload stays yours. Your matches, stats and scouting reports are visible only to your account, and real player identities never leave the server.
It does now, and it is fine for rewatching a game inside the client. What it does not do is analysis. Client replays expire, live only on your PC, and produce no numbers. valab keeps every match you upload, plays it back in the browser, and turns it into scouting reports, heatmaps and stats.
For a quick rewatch, the client now has a replay tab for recent games. For everything else, grab the .vrf from VALORANT/Saved/Demos on your PC and upload it here. A few minutes later the match is ready in the browser, every round scrubbable with the numbers alongside, and it never expires.
The replay Valorant records for each match. It holds game data rather than video, so positions, damage, purchases and abilities come out exactly as they happened rather than being estimated from pixels.
Under your user folder, in VALORANT/Saved/Demos. On Windows the full path is usually %LOCALAPPDATA%\VALORANT\Saved\Demos. Each file is named after the match id and is typically 40 to 70 MB.
Both at once. The same replay that plays back on the map also produces the scouting report, the heatmaps and every stat on the site. Nothing is estimated from an API.
